Neutral colors are an excellent addition to any wardrobe. Aesthetically pleasing and easy to mix and match with each other as well as with other colors you already have. No longer is there an adherence to the “no white after Labor Day” rule; rather embracing these lighter hues as functional year-round.
Personally, I’ve shied away from neutrals for quite some time. Often thought of as a way to tie in the other colors in my closet. Yet the past few years neutrals have begun to draw me towards their lovely tone.
Nordstrom is somewhere I shop very frequently… (probably too often if you were to ask my husband after my Nordstrom statement arrives in the mail). Yet thinking of the upcoming season and scrolling through the app I find my wish list filling up with all things neutral.

This top is one that I cannot keep my eyes off of and am thinking that it needs to be added to cart. The floral print is a beautiful representation of those leaf peeping autumnal colors. Paired with the skirt, ballet flats and structured bag it has a certain preppy core vibe to it.

The delicate floral print on the ivory background of these shorts and blazer is simply exquisite. Shorts paired with a blazer is a great way to combat those unpredictable weather changes that are common in the upcoming season. And with the proper accessories you can effortlessly go from work to dinner.

Calling ladies who lunch. How can you not love this beaded jacket and sheath dress set? With a mix of conservative and fun accessories it makes a truly stunning outfit.

The epitome of a neutral outfit. Head to toe in a classic beige mixed with a statement necklace and classic red nail…perfection!
