Not sure how you feel about this time of year, but I get a little case of the winter blues. The highs that the holidays and new year bring have faded. The lows of knowing that even though the spring season is almost here the temperatures are still blustery cold.
This year has been especially challenging for me. We decided to forgo spring break which is something that normally will stave off my depression as I have that warm escape to look forward to. There were many factors that led to the decision; a trip in December, planning a summer vacation instead and of course my hubby’s workload is well on overload.
So, as I struggle to find other fun activities to keep my mood upbeat, I have begun to “browse” the new spring arrivals. And wouldn’t you know it, I keep being drawn to these vibrant, colorful, tropical prints. It is my subconscious steering me to where I really would rather be…a sunny beach overlooking turquois water with a pina colada in hand.
If you’re lucky enough to be able to take that vacation that I’m envious of, I’ve put together a few options that I would have liked to see in my suitcase.
