Right now I am participating in a 30 day shop your closet challenge. There are only two rules to this. One no new purchases. Two no repeat outfits.
As a shopoholic the first rule is truly a doozy. So, since I can’t join in my favorite hobby let’s take a look at my ten best purchases of 2024.
(Everything linked at the bottom)

Raffia Moon Bag by Staud
If you are on the hunt for resort wear, this would make an excellent addition. I must say that when I first saw the shape of this bag, I didn’t think it would be functional. It is surprisingly roomy. Also, there is a leather patch at the bottom to hold it upright when set down. This got a LOT of use during the warmer months, as well as compliments. And it will be in my suitcase for spring break.

Genifique Ultimate Recovery Serum by Lancome
Last year I added this serum to my skin care routine. And I have to say it was the best decision. Push down on the top of the cap and it fills the wand with the perfect amount for application. Apply after toning and before any other serums. I quickly noticed a change in my skin, especially during the colder months when I tend to get dry chapped skin. Game changer!

Max Shirt by Sezane
The perfect button-down shirt does exist. This is the comfiest cotton shirt with a slight but not too much oversized fit. Great on its own or as a layering piece. I love it so much I now have it in four colors.

Auggie Boots by Dolce Vita
I most certainly did not need another pair of black boots. But I am most certainly glad I purchased these. They did not need any break in time, it was as if I owned them for several seasons. The kitten heel added the perfect easy to walk in lift. And the height of the boots is great for us shorter girls (5’5″ over here). It doesn’t dig into the back of the knee when sitting. These have gotten so much use and have become my go to pair of boots. Best part is they are on sale and available in multiple colors.

Triple Metal Keeper Belt by Madewell
OMG! The number of times that I have worn this belt. Literally pulls together an outfit in the chicest way possible. Not only did I get it in the black version above, but also the russet which is a chocolatey suede.

Leopard Print Cotton Tie String Mini Dress by Ganni
Okay to be honest when I first got this dress I had concerns about the tie string front. Was it too much exposure for the conservative elite? Nope! It is the smallest amount of two keyhole pops of skin down the front. And those puffy sleeves are everything. With that leopard print it is equal amounts of edgy and sweet that can be dressed up or down.

The Mini Puffy Heart Necklace in Gold by Roxanne Assoulin
I was first introduced to Roxanne Assoulin on IG. That large puffy heart necklace began showing up everywhere and eventually I was “influenced” to buy. Can I tell you that the larger version is a bit heavy. Oh, but alas, as meta tends to do now that it knows you bought that necklace…let’s start showing you more images. And one of them will be that large puffy heart layered with this mini puffy heart. Be still MY heart. This mini version became everything to me. I continually reach for it to wear alone or layered with other necklaces. ♥♥♥

The Midi New York by Demellier London
For most of my life my go to “neutral” accessory color was black. Shoes, handbags, belts, etc… black. This past year I decided I needed to change that and try adding more brown into my wardrobe. That was when I stumbled upon this bag. It’s a gorgeous mix of mocha suede with leather handles and accents. Don’t let that “midi” fool you. It is roomy enough to hold everything you need while on the go.

Nectar Thermique Heat Protecting Cream by Kerastase
I’m going to let you in on a little secret. My hair is actually naturally curly, and we are not talking wavy…no my friends…super tight curls. Blow drying my hair takes close to half an hour. And then if I grab the curling or flat iron that’s a lot of heat on my poor hair. As I complained about my cooked hair to my stylist, she turned me on to this. Thank you is all I can say. This helps my hair through all those damaging appliances while keeping it feeling super soft. And then when Lisa Barlow brought it up on RHOSLC I knew that it was top tier (IYKYK).

Long Sleeve Denim Dress by LookbookStore on Amazon
Okay last but not least is this denim dress I found on Amazon. Now usually I don’t have a lot of luck shopping for clothes on Amazon. This dress though is super comfy, easy to throw on and go AND got me a bunch of compliments. I’ve worn it on repeat since I got it – with sneakers, boots, ballet flats. I do need to use double sided tape in-between two of the buttons. But other than that, I love this dress.
